LEAVES Company is a St. Petersburg-headquartered enterprise founded in 1991 by a group of information systems professionals. The company's main areas of expertise are the design and implementation of corporate ERP-systems. Company’s mission is enhancing the performance of the Client organisation by implementing advanced information technology solutions. To meet this, LEAVES provides professional system design, development and integration services, as well as professional advice on related subjects. The company's North American division, Socrates Systems Inc., Chicago, IL activities are focused on the business-critical software needs, namely performance, scalability, integration and maintenance. LEAVES also offers pre-packaged solutions for telecom, manufacturing, energy & utilities and hospitality markets together with training & technical support option. LEAVES Company is a certified partner of Oracle Corp., the only certified Oracle's First Line Technical Support Center in North-West Russia and Oracle E-business Suite Implementation Partner.

History

Since its inception LEAVES company has used a strategic approach to utilizing the latest technological and methodological platforms to develop practical solutions for managing the resources of enterprises and organizations.

It was back then that, under a framework agreement, ORACLE Corp. software provided a basis for the company's initial development work and, equally important, laid a foundation for the future corporate standards system of LEAVES company.

As market principles were starting to take root in Russia, the scope and nature of tasks undertaken under specific projects were changing. The first commercial project undertaken by LEAVES at "Mayak" clothing factory was also one of the first trials of the practical prototype of future corporate information systems in Russia and CIS countries. Later on, LEAVES implemented projects for both domectic and international clients – SUKHOY Aviation Concern, Gazprom, Vodokanal of Saint Petersburg, ABN AMRO Bank, International Paper to name a few.

An important stage in the development of the company was the USAID-funded St. Petersburg Real Estate Information System project under the Russian Privatization Assistance Program. PMS product for DAYS INN international hotel chain gave headstart for Leaves North American division in Chicago, Il. in the year of 2000.

As LEAVES continued working with corporate clients, it successfully implemented a number of Web-commerce projects for western companies.

Focused on the market of medium-sized corporate projects, the company currently supports business processes reengineering which is a necessary pre-requisite for the successful implementation of any enterprise-wide project.
